Request System App – A Smarter Way to Manage Department Requests

The Request System app replaces email-based ticketing with a structured and efficient way to log, track, and manage requests. By standardising the process, departments can handle requests more effectively, ensuring urgent matters are prioritised while keeping track of pending and completed tickets.

The app provides four main options:

Raise a Ticket: Users enter request details, department, name, and request type. The system automatically generates a unique ticket ID based on the department (e.g., "FIN0001" for Finance). A '?' icon is available for additional field explanations.

View Tickets: Users can search for tickets by ID or title. Tickets are categorised into "Pending" and "Completed" for easy tracking.

Change Request: Allows users to input a ticket ID and submit modifications or additional details for an existing request.

Urgent: Ensures priority handling of critical requests with a simplified submission process requiring fewer details.

Ticket IDs are structured based on the department, providing a clear and organised tracking system.

Search & Categorisation – Users can quickly find tickets through search functionality and easily navigate between pending and completed requests.

If users need to update or modify an existing request, they can do so without creating a new ticket.

The "Urgent" option streamlines critical requests, ensuring they receive immediate attention.
